Just started using it, it’s in my first wash station, then into the 2nd wash station that has 99% IPA and I’ve not had to do spot cleanings afterwards, so it’s saving time in my post-processing workflow. Time will tell how long it actually lasts compared to IPA!! I usually spend about $80 for 4 gallons IPA, and I got 4 gallons of Rhino for $144 so it’s almost double the cost, but if it lasts 2x as long then it’s a win.
Compared to the other products I have used this is the better of them. It does in fact clean very well and you only need one wash cycle. There is no residue left on any of my models.
Thank you for amazing customer service and great communication 👏!
I ordered one gal to try it out and see if it lived up to the hype. And let me say that it sure does. So much better than IPA. My prints are cleaner now, and the clear resin comes out much clearer, too.
Definitely ordering more soon. I'll need 20 gal for all my wash stations
Was very skeptical at first but now I’m a fan. No more nasty isopropyl. I will only order this from now on. The smell is musty and reminds me of my grandma’s place by the ocean, but very tolerable and easy on hands. 😂
I have been using Rhino as a finishing rinse, since I have an existing, fairly new, tank of IPA in my cleaning machine. It works wonders! No more cured prints with that sticky feeling.
I recently upgraded my printer to a P1 Max, and had to upgrade my wash and cure situation along with it. I’m not keen to bag and bathe my models just to be able to use alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner, and I’ve been wanting to get away from using alcohol altogether due to the location and lack of safe storage in my printing studio. I have seen ads for Rhino all over my instagram feed, and kept running into passive recommendations of it in various 3D printing videos I watched while doing research on what printer I should go with for my needs.
I had tried the industrial degreaser method first, just because a few gallons of degreaser is much cheaper than Rhino. But let me tell you: there is NO contest here. The degreaser left my prints sticky and shiny, and even rubbery (from the water, I assume.) They even sat out to dry for over a week with no change, not that I really expected all that much to happen when they were still very clearly not clean.
Rhino, though? A 10 minute bath stripped all of it away. The pictures are before and after. Week-old, dried on soapy resin came RIGHT OFF. And the post-wash cleanup isn’t difficult either, this solution seems all-too-eager to mingle with water and comes right off with just a vigorous swish. You can actually feel the difference in the surface tension of the model when you run your hand over it while rinsing it off.
I immediately sounded like an ad to my friends about it, because I was just so dang impressed. I love this stuff. I’m planning to buy another four gallons within the next couple of weeks so I can alternate between a dirty and clean wash like I was doing with alcohol in my old wash machine, and I told my partner that we’re going to have to buy it in bulk when we set up our dedicated print studio and have the space to store it, because I don’t want to go without it now.
I enjoy using WinPrecision products. I tried using the resin cleaner with a couple of small bottles that I sourced here locally and loved it. I then bought the gallon bags on special. For US customers - no tariffs, quick delivery (3 business days). Recommended!
I finally got a chance to use this product. I started by cleaning my printer & wash station, it clean my wash station about 90% & has been stained for 3 years from resin residue, it almost looks new again. Im printing an hour glass in clear resin & came out crystal clear. Im glad I bought a 4 pack to start & will never go back to other solutions
This stuff is great. No smell, has worked great on the resins I've used so far. It even on Rebound it cleans everything and doesn't seem to get as dirty as ISO.
I am amazed at how effective Rhino 🦏 is, in fact it’s better than high grade IPA because my parts come out cleaner, no sticky residue or need to wash parts with soap and water.
If you can find a better cleaner, buy it.
I initially had a problem with only part of my order arriving, but customer support was very quick to get it rectified for me.
The product itself is fantastic. It cleans far better than IPA without being a fire hazard. Switching to using this for cleaning prints entirely.
Honestly, I was skeptical about Rhino. IPA seems fine, but the smell seems to hang in my nose for hours after using it. I finally tried Rhino while it is on sale and kept my expectations low. I am pleasantly surprised. It works a little slower than IPA, and doesn't evaporate quickly, so you need to wipe it dry more so than IPA. Once dry, the surfaces aren't sticky like when using IPA. It works to dissolve the uncured resin very well. I cleaned the cover of my Saturn 4 16K. I guess I didn't clean the bottom lip very well, so the Rhino caused the uncured sticky resin to collect between the cover and base. I didn't print for a couple weeks, and when I came back, the resin had cured enough to glue the cover closed. Oops. I got it unstuck ok, but it just impressed me that the Rhino got so much sticky resin off the front that it could result in gluing the cover shut. My error, of course. Now my bench and tools aren't sticky either. Oh, and my nostrils are much happier. Rhino is now my go-to resin solvent. Nice!
I recently made the decision to completely switch my 4 step cleaning system over from denatured alcohol to Rhino cleaner. As you can see from the pictures, the parts are very clean and no sticky residue left behind, even after 200 plus plates have been cleaned. Total run time for the trial was 17 days at 18 plates (full body kits, not just small parts) a day and parts were still coming out as clean as day one. Yes, the cost is a little more but in the long run I will use less Rhino cleaner vs alcohol, making the extra initial cost worth it. We are also seeing a huge reduction in VOC’s. Another plus to Rhino cleaner. I highly recommend switching to Rhino cleaner to clean your resin projects.
